• Great interoperability with other products, e.g. RAM Connection, AutoPIPE, STAAD Foundation, etc.

• STAAD.Pro allows “communications” with custom programs (e.g. Excel VBA) through OpenSTAAD !!

What is OpenSTAAD:

• It is an API (Application Programming Interface) tool provided within STAAD.Pro.

• OpenSTAAD allows users to link STAAD.Pro with internal STAAD.Pro macro editor (WinWrap Bsic) or with third-party applications (e.g. Excel VBA).

• OpenSTAAD allows users to access STAAD.Pro’s internal functions as well as its graphical commands.

• OpenSTAAD is not the macro or programming language, it is the “bridge” between STAAD.Pro and other third party application.
